Arthur Howard was born and enlisted at Great Yarmouth. During the Great War he died at sea on 30 December 1917 and is commemorated on the Chatby Memorial, Egypt; sold together with Medal issue slip addressesed to 'Mr A. F. Howard, C/O Cavalry Club, 127 Piccadilly, London SW1.'
