Reymond Davies was born on 12 March 1931 at Newport. He is noted as having been called up for the Suez Campaign in July 1956 with the 3rd Infantry Brigade; sold together with two photographs and a postcard of a transport ship along with a medal and lanyard for the Pusan Festival 1999, in its box of issued and a birth certificate annotated 'called up July 1956 for SU Campaign [SIC] 3rd Inf Br'.
