Reginald James Brine was born in 1893 at Pepworth, Somerset and served in France from 31 October 1914 (1914 Star and clasp). He was discharged on 14 November 1915, with a Silver War Badge, whilst the clasp and rosettes were issued in January 1939, with Brine living at Michigan, Rydens Way, Kingfield, Woking, Surrey.
