Llewellyn Jones was born in 1887 and was living at Brynmaur, South Wales on the outbreak of the Great War. Enlisting with the Royal Army Medical Corps he entered the war in France on 4 December 1915. He is listed as service with the 130th (St John) Field Ambulance as a stretcher bearer and the 74th General Hospital, Trouville as an Orderly. Jones' medical records not that he suffered Bronchitis in 1918 as a result of exposure to gas in March 1918 during the German Spring Offensive; sold together with copied medical report.
