Pair: Corporal A. R. Greville, 'D' Company, 4th Battalion, South Wales Borderers, who was mortally wounded during the attack on Hill 60, Gallipoli, he died of those wounds on 11 September 1915

Arthur Rees Greville was born at Barry, Glamorgan, in 1894, the son of Thomas and Agnes Greville of 14 Albany Road, Pontycymmer, Glamorgan. Joining the South Wales Borderers he was posted to Gallipoli and was with 'D' Company of the 4th Battalion for the Battle of Hill 60. The last major engagement of the Gallipoli campaign, he was seriously wounded her but lived for several weeks, being taken to Malta. He died there the next month on 11 September 1915 and was buried at Pieta Military Cemetery, Greville is further commemorated at the Barry Memorial Hall; sold together with a copied M.I.C., 1911 census and typed research.
