Joseph McKeague was born at Knockbride, County Cavan and enlisted at Mullingar. He served in France from 25 August 1914 and died on 19 July 1917, whilst attached to No. 3 Ambulance Train. McKeague is buried in the Levallois-Perret Communal Cemetery, Paris.
