R.G.A.), unofficial rivet between state and date clasps to the first, note initials on the last, very fine (5)

George E. W. Logan served with No.5 Company, Eastern Division, Royal Garrison Artillery during the Boer War:

'Period of Service in South Africa for 1901 was from 1 January 1901 until embarkation at Durban on 15th June 1901 as per S.S. Ranee disembarked at Bermuda 19th July 1901.'

During the Great War he served in France from 17 September 1914 and lived at 1 Armourers Walk, Crabble Hill, Dover, Kent.
