The Victory Medal awarded to Sergeant E. Evans, Royal Air Force, late Camel Corps, Corps of Hussars and The Welsh Regiment who entered the war in August 1914 and saw service through until the Russian Intervention with a broad variety of service finishing with the Royal Air Force in 1919

Evan Evans entered the war as a Sergeant with the 1st Battalion, Welsh Regiment in Egypt on 5 August 1914. Posted later to the Corps of Hussar and after that the Camel Corps Evans finally transferred to the Royal Air Force on 19 August 1919. Posted to H.M.S. Ark Royal he saw service during the Russian Intervention when that vessel was sent to support the campaign in the Caucasus. Discharged on 16 April 1920; sold together with copied R.A.F. service papers, Medal rolls and M.I.C.
