(x) 1914-15 Star (41600 Bmbr: G. Gunter. R.F.A.), good very fine

George Gunter served with the Royal Artillery prior to the Great War seeing service in Crete. He is noted as being 'struck off the syphillis register' in 1910. Gunter served throughout the war with 22nd Divisional Artillery, being promoted as far as Temporary Quartermaster-Sergeant but then returned to Corporal at his own request.
