(x) 1914-15 Star (99963. Gnr. T. H. Cramman, R.F.A.), very fine

Thomas Hayes Cramman was serving with the 147th Brigade, Royal Field Artillery and was aboard the Manitou en route to Gallipoli when his vessel was attacked by the Dhair Hissar on 16 April 1915. Attacked some 10 miles off Skyros, Cramman was killed in the action and is commemorated upon the Helles Memorial.
