William Walter Barber served in France with the 23rd Brigade, Royal Field Artillery from 19 August 1914. He finished the Great War as a Corporal and had a replacement 1914 Star issued to him in Birmingham in February 1924.

John Rough was born in Scotland in 1890 and enlisted in the Royal Air Force on 2 May 1918. He served as a Fitter in Egypt from 7 June 1918-24 December 1919.

Charles E. Winter served with the Yorkshire Light Infantry.
