Natal 1906, 1 clasp, 1906 (Tpr: F. K. Von Mengershausen, Royston's Horse.), very fine

F. K. Von Mengershausen was educated at the South African College - which exists today as the University of Cape Town - and took his mining examination in 1903. He also played in the Cricket XI and was wicketkeeper, in a team which included Rolland Beaumont, who played 5 Test Matches and Arnold Sedgfield "Saturday" Knight, who earned 5 Caps for the Springboks.
