(x) India General Service 1854-95, 1 clasp, Burma 1885-7 (1135 Sergt. E. Frogerty 2d. Bn. L'Pool. R.), suspension and claw loose, contact marks, edge bruise, nearly very fine

Edward Frogerty enlisted with the Carlow Rifles on 1875 but deserted and enlisted again with the Liverpool Regiment as 'Edward McBeth' on 7 January 1877, and saw action at the Battle of Peiwar Kotal during the Second Afghan War, he forfeited all service prior to 3 March 1881 having been 'found to belong to Carlow Rifles'. Attending the School of Mounted Infantry in India in August 1888 he was discharged on 23 August 1889;sold together with copied research including service papers, medal rolls and an extract from The King's (Liverpool Regiment).

Further entitled to the Afghanistan Medal 1878-80 under the name Private E. McBeth.
