Military General Service 1793-1814, 1 clasp, Egypt (D. Swanson, 92nd Foot.), with silver Hunt & Roskell silver buckle claw, suspension sometime re-fitted, contact marks and edge bruising, nearly very fine

David Swanson was born near Thurso and served with the 92nd Foot from from 14 June 1794-15 October 1806. He thence served with the Veteran Battalions and was discharged on 24 May 1816 due to a fracture of the knee.
