Bock was a dominant force in New Zealand stamp production for over half a century from the mid-1870's until 1931 and Cousins the only New Zealander ever to defined himself specifically as an 'engraver of the postage stamp die' as he did in the 1894 Wellington Almanack.
Cook Islands 1893-19 mint group comprising 1893 1d. brown, interpanneau block of twelve, lightly mounted mint, 1902 perf. 11 1½d. deep mauve, 2½d. deep blue and 5d. olive black in blocks of four and 1913 perf. 14. 1d. red block of four, also 1d. blue postal stationery card unused, fine.
