1867-1887 a mainly used selection written up on exhibition pages exploring the origin of advertising on stamps in Great Britain starting with 1864 1d. red (2) with Oxford Union Society 'o.u.s.' overprint, one on the face and one on the reverse, 'Copestake, Moore, Crampton & Co.' (5) on various values to 3d., 'W.H. Smith' (2), 'J.C. Boyd & Co., 7 Friday St.' (2), 'Great Eastern Railway' and 'Pears Soap' on ½d. vermilion and on 1d. lilac, both unused with large part original gum. Specialised, £2,000+
