Note: This example is believed the stamp of record justifying its description in the Postage Stamps of New Zealand, vol. VI (1977), p. 9; it had not previously been known. Both Stanley Gibbons and Campbell Paterson list this stamp mint and used with a token price tag, but this appears to be still the only known example either mint or used, hence the estimate.
