Western Europe, three cartons of country collections, filled with over twenty albums, binders, and stockbooks, mint and used, strong in France, with four large volumes, beginning with a few perforated Ceres and Napoleon issues, with some early twentieth century material, most of the value being in useful back of the book with never hinged 1940s/50s semi-postals, used Air Post, German Occupation of Alsace and Lorraine, as well as mint and used colonial issues of a similar vintage, with much fresh material of Cambodia, Cameroon, Laos, Madagascar, etc, Italy and Colonies, with four volumes of Italy including Roman States, Modena, Sardinia, Naples, and Tuscany, then 1863 Issues through to later twentieth century, mostly used, further Scott Specialty albums of Italian Colonies and area, one volume with fresh mint San Marino (1870s through 1970s), another of Vatican City, the balance with mint Aegean Islands, Italian East Africa, Cyrenaica, Eritrea, Libya, etc, as well as Fiume, with many sets, a bulging Scott album of mostly used Germany with useful Large and Small Shied issues, high-cataloguing collection of German States particularly strong in Baden, Bavaria, and Thurn & Taxis, further albums and accumulations of Finland, Greece, Belgium, Luxembourg, Switzerland, etc, condition mixed but many useful items, worthy of closer inspection by collector and dealer alike. cated collector, the cartons mostly filled with dozens of shoeboxes, candy, and cigar boxes, etc replete with glassine envelopes with sets, singles, and duplicates, as well as off-paper mixtures of all kinds, from single stamps to souvenir sheets and the odd cover or postcard, all corners of the world appear represented, wildly varying condition as expected, a truly diverse accumulation that will provide untold rewarding hours of organization for the patient and dedicated worldwide enthusiast.
