A very large leather bound volume (c.340x460x95mm) titled "India Adhesive Stamps Stamped Paper &c. &c." with blue marbled end papers, the inner leaves with an index and signed "Thomas Gay. 1 June 1887" [in pencil] "of India Post Office or Revenue" and signed "F.A.C." [in pencil] "F.A. Colls of the British Inland Revenue" with pencil notes in Marcus Samuel's hand.

Notes: Originally the volume contained "Adhesive Stamps: Postage, Service Postage, Foreign Bill, Telegraph, Share Transfer, Special Adhesive, High Court, Small Cause, Court Fee (old series), Court Fee (new series), Postage Envelopes, Registration Envelopes, Post Cards" (pages 1-12). Marcus Samuel notes that these pages were sold "See RL Revenue Sale, Bournemouth 28-3-1914- Lots 1483, 1485, 1486 £735++".
