1854 imperf "registered" 1/- rose-pink and blue Die 1, a partial used reconstruction (13) of the plate of 25 with Sub-type 4 overprints, generally above average quality and mostly free of faults except several are touched or just cut into. S.G. 34, £2,600+

Note: Since no multiples are known from this printing, it is not possible to advance the plating of the groups far, and the overprints have been arbitrarily divided into groups of 25, termed Sub-types 3 and 4 for those on Die 1 stamps. This lot includes those Type "a and 2B types not represented in the previous lot. A unique assembly of plated material from this scarce printing.
