GK close to large margins, tied by Maltese Cross in paler shade to 1841 (9 Jan.) entire letter from Liverpool to Westmorland, with 'Liverpool' d.s. on reverse; together with matched 1d. red, four margins, tied by black Maltese Cross to 1841 (25 April) piece presently affixed to entire by two stamp hinges for display. A fine and scarce matched pair.
