Plate 79 (6) with London duplex cancellations, redirected to Quebec and marked 6d and with Canada Pkt. datestamp (10.8), further redirected to Scotland and with "glasgow packet/unpaid/au 20/1867" alongside, a variety of transit and arrival datestamps on front and reverse; some folds and traces of stains, fine. A pencilled note on the reverse reads " Dr. SD Kennedy bets Mr. M Morton 5L (£) that if in this spring there is a war between France and Prussia, France beats Prussia" Dr. Kennedy lost!.
