1860's/1900's, eleven transatlantic folded letters/covers to Canada, most being from the 1860's and 70's, and 3d or 6d single frankings, note also 1d., 2½d. and 5d rates, several named vessels including examples carried on the Allan Line Hibernian (1867), North American (1867), Belgian, Austrian (1873), Prussian (1874), and Scandinavian (1875), varied condition, typical filing folds and other small faults, two are fronts only, a useful group for further research.
