1849 (14 April) entire letter from Southampton to Douglas, Isle of Man, intricately folded ito a triangle, bearing 1d. red tied by "723" barred numeral, with Southampton, Liverpool and Douglas d.s. deligently applied by the postal clerk on the available space on the reverse. Highly unusual.
