Anne (1702-1714), Post-Union, Shilling, 1708, third draped bust left, rev. four crowned shields cruciform, six strings to harp, obliquely milled edge, 5.69g, 6h (Bull 1399; ESC 1147; Spink 3610), rim flattened from a mount or toddy ladle, crimped and rather mediocre, reportedly an 'unbarred H in HIB' variety, but a trace of cross bar is visible
