George II (1727-1760), 'East India Company', Five-Guineas, 1729 TERTIO, first young laureate head left, legend regularly spaced with large lettering, E.I.C below truncation, rev. crowned garnished shield, eleven strings to harp, + DECVS • ET • TVTAMEN • AUUO • REGNI • TERTIO, inverted Ns in ANNO, lettered upwards on edge, 41.64g, 7h (King 161-162; Stratos 198; MCE 279; Schneider II, 556, dies 2/2; EGC 553; Spink 3664), edges made round and fields burnished from past cleaning, of untidy appearance but struck details almost very fine, a stable type coin for the budget conscious collector
