(x) NGC AU58 | George II (1727-1760), 'Roses and Plumes' Crown, 1735 OCTAVO, laureate, draped and cuirassed bust left, rev. crowned shields cruciform, roses and plumes in angles, thirteen strings to harp, lettered edge upwards, 7h (Pywell-Phillips 308; Bull 1663; ESC 120; Spink 3686), edge bruise at 6 o'clock, rubbed and toned with residual underlying lustre, a really bold very fine, in NGC holder, graded AU58 (Cert. #3728326-015)
