(x) NGC MS61 | Anne (1702-1714), Pre-Union, 'Roses and Plumes', Crown, 1707 SEXTO, first draped bust left, rev. crowned shields cruciform, roses and plumes in angles, eight strings to harp, lettered edge downwards, 6h (Pywell-Phillips 212; Bull 1342; ESC 102; Spink 3578), adjustment mark by ear and light artificial tone since last we offered, the struck details quite exceptional for type, near extremely fine, very rare thus, even in this adulterated state, in NGC holder, sympathetically graded MS61 (Cert. #2810939-003)
