R]EX, armoured King on horseback left, horse plain, no ground line, rev. (m.m.) • CHR[IS]TO .' AVSPICE .' REGNO, oval garnished shield, 11h, m.m. rose (Besly A1; Brooker 1008-1009; North 2531; Spink 3045), surface delamination in obverse legend and a large area of striking flatness before portrait and in corresponding area of reverse, otherwise attractively cabinet toned, struck details very fine and considerably above average for this notoriously poor issue, in oversized PCGS holder, graded VF35 (Cert. #84064547)
