REX, fourth foreshortened horseman left, sword upright, no ground line, rev. •:•• (m.m.) •:• CHRISTO • AVSPICE • REGNO, the G double-entered, oval garnished shield, 30.01g, 8h, m.m. sun / sun (Hawkins 4; Francis 40a; FRC XXIV/XXXVII, lot 96; Brooker 272; Barr 43; Boismason 2013; Dr Erik Miller 14; North 2198; Spink 2761), central devices more softly struck on high points, otherwise unimpinged by unsightly metal stresses, with an attractive cabinet tone, a pleasing very fine, the peripheries especially so, the same obverse die as next, in NGC holder, graded AU55 (Cert. #2838013-001)
