Charles II (1660-1685), Halfcrown, 1669 VICESIMO PRIMO, third laureate and draped bust right, rev. crowned shields cruciform, eight strings to harp, lettered edge, 14.45g, 6h (Bull 450 [R5]; ESC 465; Spink 3365), many scratches around details both sides, the obverse smoothed and barely fair, the reverse badly damaged from a mount, nevertheless very rare, and much like Wagner's music, better than it sounds!
