George I (1714-1727), 'Roses and Plumes' Crown, 1720 over 18 [over 6] SEXTO, laureate and draped bust right, rev. crowned shields cruciform, roses and plumes in angles, lettered edge upwards, 29.71g, 6h (Bull 1543-R; ESC 113; S.3639), some evidence of resunk edge lettering, the obverse rubbed and lightly wiped, and a further die flaw on breast, otherwise a bolder fine / very fine, the reverses with traces of original toning
