William and Mary (1688-1694), Crown, 1692 over inverted 2 QVINTO, laureate and draped busts right, rev. crowned shields cruciform, nine strings to harp, lettered edge, G over R in REGNI, 29.62g, 6h (Bull 825; ESC -, cf. 85 but letter variety not noted; Spink 3433), a defective planchet with general flecking and dimpling in fields, artificially (?) toned with a lamination flaw by IA of GRATIA, otherwise a most impressively bold strike for issue, almost extremely fine
