DAY., two crossed staves displaying the White Ensign and Union flag attached to an upright trident with a shield inscribed 31 MAY 1916, rev. within wreath a twelve line inscription, hallmarked 18 CT on edge, 22mm, 9.14g (Eimer 1951b; BHM 4124), some staining, largely in legends, otherwise extremely fine, with suspension loop
