Victoria (1837-1901), 'Young Head' Halfcrowns, 1840-1846 (11), 1840, type A4, WW on truncation (Bull 2715; ESC 673; Spink 3887), polished, about fine, scarce, also, type A4, no initials (10), 1842 (2) (Bull 2717; ESC 675); also, 1843 (Bull 2718; ESC 676); and, 1844 (2), with and without serifs (Bull 2720; ESC 677); 1845 (3), all appear to be 'over 3' (Bull 2723; ESC 679); 1846 (2) (Bull 2724; ESC 680; Spink 3888), some cleaned, mostly rubbed flat, mediocre to go about good, but scarce early dates (11)
