George II (1727-1760), 'Old Head' Crown, 1750 VICESIMO QVARTO, old laureate, draped and cuirassed bust left, rev. crowned shields cruciform, angles plain, eight strings to harp, eight hearts, lettered edge downwards, 29.98g, 6h (Bull 1670; ESC 127; Spink 3690), heavy scratches in angles and severely damaging mount marks and plugs at 2, 4, 8 and 10 o'clock, otherwise polished but residually lustrous, struck details very fine
