Anne (1702-1714), Post-Union, London, 'Plumes' Sixpences (3), Plumes (2), 1707, draped bust left, rev. crowned shields cruciform, plumes in angles, six strings to harp, edge obliquely milled, 2.86g, 6h (Bull 1455; ESC 1590; Spink 3619), rubbed and toned, good; another, 1708, similar, rev. seven strings to harp, 2.95g, 6h (Bull 1457; ESC 1594; Spink 3623); lastly, 1710, 'Roses and Plumes', similar, rev. six strings, roses and plumes in angles, 2.89g, 6h (Pywell-Phillips 253; Bull 1459 [R]; ESC 1595; Spink 3624), removed from a mount with damage at 12 o'clock, further traces of gilding in toned fields, good / fine, but scarce (3)
