Edward VI (1547-1553), Third Period, Fine Silver Issue, Sixpence, 1551-1553, Southwark, crowned bust facing, rev. square-topped shield over cross fourchée, 2.97g, 4h, m.m. y (North 1938; Spink 2483), scratches to flans and evidence of burnishing, otherwise toned, colourfully so in recesses, struck details approaching very fine, albeit for trace doubling and usual softness
