Frederick John William Isaacs was born at Erith, Kent on 9 January 1897. Enlisting on 12 December 1916 as an Ordinary Seaman, he saw service with H.M.S. Canada, being promoted Able Seaman on 7 September 1917.

Alfred Belcher was born at London on 2 September 1897. Enlisting as a Stoker Class II on 20 June 1916 he saw service aboard H.M.S. Archaeon and Hecla, being demobilised on 26 February 1919.

George Mulley was born at Cambridge on 30 April 1887. Enlisting as a Boy Class II on 22 July 1903 he was promoted Ordinary Seaman while with the training ship H.M.S. Emerald on 30 April 1905. He saw service prior to the war with H.M.S. Hood, Russell- with which he was promoted Able Seaman on 4 April 10- and Warrior. Serving with H.M.S. Donegal with the outbreak of the Great War Mulley was invalided on 6 May 1915.
