Queen's South Africa 1899-1902, 1 clasp, Relief of Ladysmith (5602 Pte. J. Rothwell, R. Lanc: Regt.), good very fine

John Rothwell served with the Royal Lancaster Regiment during the Boer War and was mortally wounded at the Battle of Spion Kop on 24 January 1900. He died of those wounds at Durban aboard the Simla on 2 May 1900.
