(x) China 1900, 1 clasp, Relief of Pekin (J. Hargadon, A.B., H.M.S. Endymion.), good very fine

John Hargadon was born at Sligo, Ireland on 24 June 1880. Enlisting with the service number 191375 with the rank of Boy Class II on 3 November 1896 he was posted to H.M.S. Impregnable. Seeing service with H.M.S. Lion, Endymion and Drake throughout his career Hargadon was discharged on 18 November 1905 with the rank of Able Seaman.
