Imperial Service Medal, G.VI.R. (Annie May Gaukroger), mounted as worn, minor contact wear, overall very fine

Annie May Gaukroger was born at Todmorder, Yorkshire in 1889, the daughter of Stansfield and Eleanor Guakroger of 3 Garden Street, Back Todmorrden. She married Percy Beedsworth on 5 August 1913, at Halifax, Yorkshire however he was wounded at France in 1917 during the Great War and Gaukroger remarried Percy Townsend on 7 August 1919 and was described in upon the marriage certificate as a 'Widow'. She was awarded her Imperial Service Medal for work as an Officer at H.M. Borstal in 16 November 1945; sold together with copied research including London Gazette entries, marriage certificate, service records for Percy Beedsworth and census data.
