Frank Edward Mason of Salford, Lancashire, earned the Military Medal for his part in the attack on the Salines-Steenbeck road at Ledeghem, east of Ypres. He was one of ten men of the 1st Battalion to win an M.M. for this action which, taking place on 14 October 1918, proved to be their final major action of the war; sold together with copied paperwork, research, and extracts from the Regimental History.
