Scott Maich - or Fatboy to his friends and comrades - served with the Scots Dragoon Guards from 1989-2003 and was a Corporal on discharge. He was jailed for 10 months in 2012 after assaulting his 71-year old mother and further admitted a string of other charges, including two of behaving in a threatening and abusive manner, one of police assault, one of breach of the peace and one of possessing cocaine.
