Claude Lay was born at Leicester on 16 September 1897.

Tom William Owen was born at Washington, Lancashire on 12 July 1898.

William Thomas Barry was born at Ansford, Somerset on 7 May 1883 and entered the Royal Navy on 7 May 1901.

Frederick Ernest Sanders was born at Islington, London on 31 May 1892 and was a Postman upon joining the Royal Navy on 13 July 1917. He served with the Royal Naval Air Service at Chingford and thence transferred to the Royal Air Force and died on 30 April 1920.
