1914-15 Star (D-10038 Pte. G. A. Smith 3rd. D. Gds.), one or two verdigris spots to reverse, very fine

George Andrew Smith served with the 3rd Dragoon Guards in France from 3 December 1914. Having been promoted Lance-Corporal, he was killed in action on 23 March 1918 and is commemorated upon the Pozieres Memorial.
