Afghanistan 1878-80, 1 clasp, Ahmed Khel (2082, Pte E. Milner, 2/60th Foot), sometime cleaned, test mark at 5 o'clock, overall very fine

Edward Milner was born at Brigg, Lincolnshire in 1837. He was serving at Peshawar, India in 1871 with 2nd Battalion, 60th (The Kings Royal Rifle Corps) Regiment of Foot. Later serving during the Second Afghan War, he saw action at the Battle of Ahmed Khel and was discharged on 22 March 1881; sold together with copied medal roll.
