Ben Mussen served at St Johns during 1870 and his Medal was sent to him at St Domingue Street, Montreal, Quebec.

A man of the same name, at the same address, was in receipt of the Canada General Service with clasp 'Fenian Raid 1866', serving with the Montreal Brigade Garrison Artillery.
