Crimea 1854-56, 3 clasps, Alma, Inkerman, Sebastopol (R. Wretham * 2nd Battn Rifle Brigade *), engraved naming, contact marks and edge wear, very fine

Robert Wretham is confirmed on the roll of the 2nd Battalion, Rifle Brigade with the number 3603. This campaign saw very heavy fighting for the Rifle Brigade including the Battle of Alma when they were the first Regiment across the river. Wretham continued serving after the war being stationed at Subathoo (Sabathu), India in 1861.
