Ernest Leo Mulhane, a cheesemaker from Hataitai, Wellington, served with the 4th Battalion, 16th Company, 19th Regiment, New Zealand Mounted Rifles. He was wounded with the Imperial Camel Corps on 27 November 1917, during the action at Bald Hill, Mulebbis.
